Temperature Modeling

Well, I'm back. I'm done with school, so I finally got time to do tuning stuff.

This is the first part of a larger thing I've been working on. The goal is both MAF and Speed Density tuning that works day, night, summer, winter, and at any altitude. Temperature is one of the three components needed.

Here's the paper:
DOWNLOAD (370kb)

The 'nice' version of the spreadsheet is coming soon, as I still gotta write up some instructions for it. If you must have it now, here's the DOWNLOAD (Excel 2003, 7.1Mb) and DOWNLOAD (Excel 2007, 3.7Mb)

Enjoy,
Marcin

So the bias filter is applied iteratively... how many times per second would the PCM apply it...?

Dunno, that's the big question that's completely stopping me from applying this knowlege and making a full model of it. I know kinda how it works, so I have a functioning model, it just doesnt use the filter table the same way the ecu does. Wanna bug Paul/Ross for me?
